... Yes that is a bird...inside the window!
So the other day I am home alone. The cat is asleep on the couch and I am in the kitchen making a sandwich when I hear a noise. 'Dave's home early'...I carry on with the sandwich...the noise continues...'Dave seems to be having a lot of trouble considering thats his own front door'... noise continues...so I go to check it out. I make it to the hallway and can see there is no one at the front door, the noise is coming from the lounge. 'Oh no the cats finlly cracked and is tearing the place to shreds' I enter the lounge... And there is the cat in the middle of the room crouched perfectly still watching this crazy mass of feathers repeatedly hurling itself at the window. maybe it had realised that had I not entered when I did it was seconds away from certain death!
So I chased the cat out, shut myself in there and, about an hour later emerged with the poor thing. As I released it in the front garden and it flew away it gave a little 'chirp'. I am going to assume that was a thankyou! ;o)

I really did!!!!
It was a fab day and the atmosphere was brilliant! I enjoyed it so much infact that Di and I have registered for the Run10K event in September. The ultra observant may have noticed that the link on the top right has changed from Race for Life to Run10k but it all goes to the same charity, Cancer Research UK so please go on ahead and still sponsor me if you can. So far the online page for Race for Life had raised £75 with another £35 pledged that will go with the £40 already gathered on the new page so thats £150 so far. Thats a great result and the other girlies have been collecting too. The new sponsorship page for Run10k will remain live until 2 weeks after the event on the 20th September so there is plenty of time left to sponsor me ;o)
and a big thankyou to everyone who has sponsored me so far!
Here are some pictures from Saturday...
Someone got bored waiting....
Di and I finished in around 35 mins
And Mel and Linds around 49 mins
