OK so I'm way behind updating this! no internet at home really does not help! Apparantly it takes sky a month to move our broadband service 2 minutes down the road! FANTASTIC! To be fair in my experience so far, tiscali have set the record with a grand total of 6 weeks (I kid you not!!) and don't even get me started on aol!
so travel back with me, if you will, to Dec 7th....
That was the day we became home owners (eeeeek! like we actually own 10% of our house and the bank own the rest. quite a scary thought!)

Tuesday of this week we said goodbye to our first house (and I cried!) It was strange to see it so empty and looking so different to when we lived there. We also said goodbye to the wooden snake. We found him in the kitchen cupboard when we arrived almost 3 years ago and he gave us quite a fright at first glance (untill we realised he wasn't real). We've had so much fun hiding him for each other to find but now he waits in the kitchen cupboard for the next un suspecting tennant! Goodbye house! Goodbye snake!

So I got really stressed over the weekend. It looked like the move might not go ahead this week and I was feeling pretty rough. so.... I did the only thing you can do when all else fails....
..... I sat in the middle of all the boxes and packing materials and toasted a marshmallow gingerbread man over a candle!
(seriously?! no one else does that?? they really should!!!!!!)
So knowing that I can't put christmas decorations up because we are moving, I decided to at least prepare my desk. not much but its a start I geuss...
Yep that's me! Something has GOT TO change around here! After doing so well with the whole weightloss thing I have gone and blown it! And its not even christmas yet!

Not sure if there is too much more to say. Thats it in a nutshell really. Snowed under with work. Even till 2am every morning isn't getting it done. About 3 weeks to moving day. And Christmas is coming. I really want to enjoy the lead up to it, the anticipation. But I have a sneaky feeling that thats not going to happen this year. Need sleep. Won't get it. Need it. Sniff!
On a lighter note, here are a couple of shots from the start of the month. We went to the firework display at the Trafford Centre. It was fab and the pics arent bad either for a camera phone in the dark. sony erickson K850i ROCKS!

Ok so time to own up.....I am still here and I did get my internet connection back (big waves to Jen - thankyou for missing me, its nice to be missed ;-)
I geuss I just got into a bad habit of not posting whilst it was difficult to and then never really picked up again. I will try to do better. So anyway, one reason is things have been CRAAAAAZY! I did have a pic to share on my phone that would have explained part of it but I managed to lose all the pics off my phone last night (boo! hiss! it was my error but I am NOT happy!)
so I will just have to leave anyone who drops by here in suspense as to what our big news is if they don't know already whilst I go and get another picture! Lets just say things are gonna get a LOT crazier from here!

As the weather starts to change (or stay the same! wet & cold!) we find ourselves looking towards Christmas. From now till December tends to be a busy time for us with many families who use The Memory Workshop for their family portraits starting to plan sittings in time for Christmas. We encourage them to come in early to avoid the pressure and rush as the final deadlines for posting to relatives draw near but also because this is such a beautiful season. In all honesty, I think its my favourite! as the thrill of December and all its festivities draws near nature provides a fantastic colour palette for us to play with. I don't think you can beat Autumn for outdoor shoots. The following are a few samples from a fab sitting we managed to squeeze in, just in the nick of time last year...
