Bitten...

...by the bug!



Ok, so I am under no illusion that I can use this to explain away the fact that I haven't blogged since before christmas. I'm not even going to try! But I can plead that it has affected this week at least (so thats one out of like 10 ;o). This book has been on my 'to read' shelf for roughly 2 years and has taken me not much more than 2 days to read almost completely. Crazy huh?! what can I say, there's nothing like a bit (or a lot) of literary escapism to totally mess up your schedule! I love it! (that'll be just another 20 or so left on the 'to read' shelf now *sigh*)


Afraid its a short post tonight as its late, but I do have some pics all ready to share tomorrow. I will leave you with a warning: Weight Watchers ready meals: don't bother! or, at leas proceed with extreme caution...



take this for example. sweet chilli chicken and thai rice. Translate that as chicken in an orange coloured sauce that doesn't taste very orange at all with plain boiled rice. Looks like I am just going to have to accept that the only way I am going to shrink is eat flavourless mulch and jump around a lot! joy!

I would just like to point out...

... that the last post WAS NOT by me. The truth would be that Dave got all my stuff from around the house that was buggin' him and dumped it all down my side of the bed, and then thought that publishing it on the internet would guilt me into shifting it! Unfortunately its a matter of priorities and lets face it, we all know mine are totally messed up! ;o)

When these beautiful people come to visit!



These kids have been posing every year for 'christmas photos' since, well, before I started out - so they're all pros now! So much fun! And it was great this year to invite them to come visit us at our studio for the very first time instead of having to take the whole show on the road. ...but more about that soon. I am tired and need sleep. here is a couple more sneaks. Will be posting more but not until after the family have recieved their disk ;o)

Firstly I would like to know, who stole my weekend?! and PLEASE! are we nearly at the next one yet?!?!

Dave took this pic a couple of weeks ago as we were setting up for the Benton's shoot (at 2am as he was working and wouldn't be able to help me with it the next day). Will post some sneaks from their session Monday or Tuesday.
Gotta run. The will to keep moving is running out fast!

It was all deliberate, I didn't update my blog for so long because I was hiding and waiting for the right moment to jump out and scare eveyone! ;o)

ok, ok so thats a big fat lie. Things just kinda got out of hand over here and I have been paying the price for that in terms of lack of sleep and a life in general etc. but more of those joyous things later. Thanks to the blog police (Kerrin, Karen, Mireille and Em) for 'stopping in' to check if I was still alive! - panics over!

So hopefully this weekend there will be some major catching up! But in the mean time I have a project up today over at the Daily inspiration blog. Here is a sneak, but to see the full thing follow the link in the sidebar...
